I love this so much When I went to see them I was stood next to this fat old woman and I was crying my eyes out during FLW and Gerard sang "I see you lying next to me.." my favrioute part of the song, that never fails to make me cry and this fat old tart goes "OH YES PLEASE GERARD I'LL LIE NEXT TO YOU" I was like FUCK OFF!
I was contemplating getting 'I am not afraid to walk this world alone' on my hip. I love all their albums, but there are just lines in the Black Parade that really jump out. I'm a big fan of wrist ink, too. I have three. :3 Mine are white though. Yay for being pale!
i agree with you totally - especially from famous last words, there are so many lines that are not only great lyrics but truly great sentiments as well - "i am not afraid to keep on living, i am not afraid to walk this world alone" - they just have timeless meanings. i'm thinking about getting "the world will never take my heart" too, maybe on the other wrist, though not for a while yet. do you have pictures up of your wrist tattoos? i'd be interested to see those, i've never really seen white tattoos, from my understanding white doesn't tattoo as well as other colors.
Disenchanted has some great lines, too. Another favourite of mine from that album. That'd be sweet, on the other wrist. I don't have any photos up yet, but I really need to. White doesn't go near as well as other colours. My artist told me when I came back for more white she was surprised they showed up so well. Apparently it's a true sign of paleness if you can hold white ink. xD;
hahahahh that's awesome!!! i'm really pale too so maybe i should try white sometime. disenchanted is beautiful, i remember i saw them in ... april 2007 and they played it for us, it was the last stop on the tour and we were the first to hear it, it was amaazing. let me know when you get those pics up!!
i'll just have to find a super cool design for the white, and a good place to put it. yeah the tickets were pretty expensive - i saw them at projekt revolution and they were like 70 bucks and we were really far away from the stage and it kind of sucked, but it was still awesome. your tattoos are AWESOME, the white ink looks really cool. your skin looks just as pale as mine (okay, maybe a little paler ) so i bet i could pull that off too. white ink seems really special, very secret, because no matter how pale you are it's still really hard to see. do you mind my asking what the meaning or inspiration was or is it too personal?
